Baptism

In the first of seven sacraments, one is cleansed of sin, received into the Body of Christ and made an heir of heaven. Adults and children older than seven prepare for Baptism by participating in the RCIA and RCIC process.

Infant Baptism is celebrated at Immaculate Conception each Sunday after the 12:15 Mass, except the second Sunday of each month when it is celebrated during the 12:15 Mass. (exception: during the season of Advent and Lent, and, there is no Baptism at Mass.)

At Sacred Heart Baptism is celebrated during or after the 10:00 AM Mass.

Parents anticipating the birth of a child are asked to attend preparation class before the baby is due. These sessions are held on the second Thursday of each month. Please call the rectory to register for these classes.
